  • Launched 37 products in 6 different categories in the US and Canada (25 sold nationally at Whole Foods US)
  • Managed 3 sales teams of 50+ people holding accountable to KPI's
  • Managed a broker team in Canada (20+ people, Natural, Conventional, Costco)
  • Extensive experience managing Regional and National Distributors; UNFI, KeHE, POD, UNFI Canada, Neal Brothers
  • Recouped more than $250,000 in chargebacks from distributors
  • Managed 3rd party merchandising teams nationally in the U.S.

Operations

  • Co-created a vinegar fermentation technology that was scaled to create some of the raw materials used in Acid League products.
  • Built manufacturing facility from scratch (curating equipment, installation, maintenance) and training FT/PT employees 
  • Built warehousing/shipping network in both the US/Canada for finished goods and raw materials
  • Qualified, vetted and managed co-manufacturing partners including contract negotiation
  • Managed all software and API connections linking vendors and partners to internal infrastructure

Product Development

  • Ideated and supported the product development of 150+ commercialized items; beverages, sauces and condiments
  • Conducted sensory testing and evaluation from MVP to final iteration

Marketing

  • Built partnership and product collaborations with notable brands including; Graza, Salad For President, Diaspora and Preservation Society
  • Directed brand strategy for email and social media campaigns

Acid League

From a basement lab to grocery shelves nationwide.

In the spring of 2019, my co-founder and I set our sets sights on reinventing vinegar for people excited by acidity but bored with the status quo. After experimenting with countless methods and over 500 flavors—everything from roasted coconut to honey nasturtium, Campari, and kombu—we developed a proprietary process that produces complex, concentrated, and consistently delicious vinegars that would become the jumping-off point for dozens of other products over the following years.

As our reputation for flavor, innovation and creativity grew, so did our product lineup.

Driven by boundless curiosity and a spirit of collaboration, our team has poured countless hours into developing and releasing a vast array of products. Each creation we’ve put out into the world has embodied not only our relentless pursuit of flavor innovation but also the distinctive contributions of every member of our team.  

Today, we’ve refined our range of acid-based sauces, condiments, dressings, and more.
